Jackie Cunliffe specialises in watercolours depicting exotic locations: the everyday lives and the surroundings of Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, Morocco, Spain and locations across the world. The vivid colours that come through in the clothes, the food and the architecture of the Far East contrast with the deep shadows that the strong sun casts in every nook and cranny.
From Nottingham to Worcester, Italy to Switzerland, Jackie Cunliffe's art has brought the evocative spirit of South-East Asia to many homes. In the Spring of 2008 her work was shown at Evesham Library, Worcestershire in an exhibition entitled "People and Places: South-East Asia".
